Sasami-san@Ganbaranai Chapter 2

The three sisters, Tama

After dealing with me, Onii-chan strolled out of the house. While he stood at our gate. (It was a two story building were the second floor had its walls removed, so that the whole floor could be mine. The first floor was Onii-chan’s space to lounge, use the bathroom and do other things.)

Tsukuyomi Kamiomi
Sasami

He glanced at the nameplate inscribed with those words.
“Fufufu... Fufufu... Just like a couple... Fufufu,” He muttered to himself, before cheerfully pedaling his bike.

While slowly riding to work, Onii-chan stopped for a second, and tilted his head.
Our city that we lived in, Amenonuboko, was an oridinary residential area. The only thing special here was our subway; other than that, there were simply than ordinary houses lined up and down the street.
“Something feels a little weird,” muttered Onii-chan while skillfully riding his bike, and covering his face with one of his hands.
“A spirit or something.”
Saying stuff like an idiot, he kept moving until he reached a spot.
It was one of the small rivers that this town had because it lay at the base of a large mountain.
The water was clean, and rocks got rolled around and splashed by the water every so often.
Onii-chan stopped his bike again. This time he walked towards the river.

“........?”
Tilting
his head, Onii-chan started to look around.
“
Ribbit, Ribbit”
Suddenly a head shaped object sprouted out of the water and the water began to rise. The object began flying at a super high speed towards Onii-chan.
“
........?”
Surprised, he leaped back a few meters.
With the most loud and sweet sounding voices you could imagine
“Tama-chan is-!”
The object kept flowing out of the river with the biggest grin on it's face.
“A cute and healthy Frog-chan! Ribbit-ribbit!”
Mysterious words were heard in the air.
It was a human.
More so, it was such a beauty that anyone who saw her would have had to look back for a second glance.
However since she appeared from the river, you would think that this probably wasn't someone to interact with.
Onii-chan managed to escape from the human that had appeared.
“Huh?”
Onii-chan showed curiosity towards the stranger that appeared like a goddes of a lake.
“If it isn’t Tama-san? What are you doing over there?”
Hmm?
An acquaintance?
I became suspicious towards Onii-chan’s attitude, and I began to stare. (It was hard to imagine the situation from this perspective.)
If one looked more closely at it, the thing that appeared from the river was indeed a beauty--
It was the youngest of the three Yagami sisters - Tama Yagami.
“.....mmm?”
As Tama raised her weird voice, she widened her eyes.
“Ah! Paparin!”
For some reason she named my Onii-chan “Paparin,”.
“Good-morning!”
“Tama-san, what are you doing in the lake? You’ll catch a cold!”
“It was like, Umm like, Tama was like.”
After Tama got on top of the river bank, Purnnpurnn, she shook her body with intense movements to dry off.
She probably wasn't wearing any underwear, since her wet clothes clamped up against her beautiful body.

Her speech was innocent and she made a  “Wappa-Wappa” sound when she moved.
“Ribbit-ribbit!”  I’m a Frog-san!”
“.....?”
Onii-chan tilted his head towards the illogical Tama,
As if Tama was irritated by that, she angrily curled her lips.
“So it was like. Umm like. Always like, Tama is like, playing here! With Frog-san! But like, it disappeared! That’s why Tama was being Frog-san instead!”
She had the appearance of a president’s secretary, but her speech was totally that of a child.
However this would make perfect sense since Tama was turning nine this year as a third grader.
To prove it, she shouldered the randoseru* that was lying around.
“O-Oh, I see.”
Did Onii-chan really understand Tama’s nonsense?
“You’re very gentle, Tama-san.”
“He complimented me!”
“But, Tama-san. The Frog-san didn’t disappear. They are probably hibernating?”
“Hi-bernating?”
“Y-yes. During the winter when there is no food, to not waste any nutrients, the Frog-san is fast asleep. It’s not like they all died.”
“A-ah, just like mamarin!”
“.....?”
I was even more confused by these puzzling words.
“That’s why there’s no need to replace Frog-san. If you actually make a fuss, frog-san won’t be able to sleep well. Even Tama-san won’t be able to sleep well if someone is making a lot of noise, right?”
“I would kill them!”
“Right?”
Wait, that's not right. Kill them?
“That’s why, Tama-san, for now we should let Frog-san sleep peacefully, because when it spring comes, they will show up again. When that happens, you should play together with them. …..understand?”
Tama furrowed her brow, thinking for a while.
Not long after, she burst out into laughter while grinning widely.
“I got it! Tama won’t disturb Frog-san’s sleep!”
“You got it! Tama-san is a good child.”
“Tama, good child!”
Onii-chan patted Tama's head.
“All right, go to school then. Tama-san’s elementary is in the opposite direction isn’t it? You’ll be late?”
“That’s true!”
Did she forget about school up until point? Well, she is still a child.
From her stomach, a “grumble...,” cutely sounded.
“Wow!”
Tama didn't even blush.
“Paparin, Tama is hungry! I was in a hurry to be Frog-san so I didn’t even eat breakfast and came here!”
“My, my.”
Naturally, Onii-chan was being very sympathetic.
He took out a box. It was the box I had given him this morning.
“Well, I will offer you this. This is my lunch, but my school has a store.- I’ll be fine. Even if it’s while you’re walking, eat this like breakfast please.”
“What? You’re giving it? To Tama?”
Tama hesitated a bit, but then, as if she lost to hunger, she reached out and accepted it.
She embraced it as if it was very important, and then laughed, “ehehe.”
“Thanks, Paparin. ...I love you.”
After squeezing Oniichan, Tama shook her randoseru*, while running off with full energy.
“See you, Paparin! Tama, will go to school! Paparin should try hard at work too!”
She then said, as if she suddenly had remembered;
“I left the house without breakfast, so Tsurugi onee-chan and Kagami onee-chan might be angry at me, so apologize to them in Tama’s place! Eheheh... See you later Paparin!”
She ran off with an innocent smile.
